Rev. Dr. Otis Thomas McMillan served as a pastor in the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church for nearly thirty years. Presently, He serves as the international Director of the Department of Church Growth and Development of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church around the world. He holds as  degrees in  Theology, Divinity  and a  Doctor degree of Ministry.                                                                                                               

Dr. McMillan has published several books, produced a number of musical recordings, and distributed thousands of teaching CDs tapes each year. God has given this preacher a Rhema word to speak prophetically into the lives of His people. He has traveled extensively throughout the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Virgin Islands, Bahamas Islands, Israel, South Korea, Trinidad, West Indies, several regions of Canada and several nations in Africa, including West Africa, Central Africa and South Africa.

As a lecturer, conference speaker, and revivalist he is in high demand. In July 2008, Dr. McMillan was elected the 8th director of the Bureau of Evangelism for the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Denomination.  In July 2012, Dr. McMillan was elected as the first director of the newly formed department of Church Growth and Development which includes the ministries of Evangelism and Home Mission.   Dr. McMillan has received dozens of awards through the years, including the Frederick Douglass Award and two North Carolina Long Leaf Pine Governor’s Award for outstanding leadership.   

 He and his wife of more than fifty years, Minister Barbara Jean Adams McMillan reside in central North Carolina and are the proud parents of five adult children, fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  Today, all their time and energy is devoted to proclaiming the message of the kingdom of God!
